Class Experience
This course teaches fractions through multiple visual representations—area/region models, number lines, and set models—to make fractions meaningful rather than abstract. Students learn academic vocabulary (numerator, denominator, partitioning), strategies for comparing fractions, equivalent fractions, and how to represent addition and multiplication of fractions using visuals. Each session includes a math routine warm-up, guided teaching, interactive note-taking, and reflection.
