Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last Updated: August 2026
You can leave a class at any time from your dashboard. Classes that have not started yet are refunded automatically, and you choose whether the money comes back to your card or lands in your Undoschool store credit the same day. This page explains exactly how the amount is worked out.
Cancelling is a button on the class itself, in your dashboard. You can use it at any point in a course — there is no deadline and no window to miss. Before you confirm, we show you the amount coming back and where it will go.
A class counts as used once its start time has passed, whether or not your child attended. We do not look at attendance records, because a seat you paid for was held for you whether you used it or not — and reading attendance would turn every refund into an argument about who logged in.
Nothing has started, so nothing has been used, and the whole amount comes back.
Classes that have already started are not refunded. If you cancel a few hours before the next session, that session has not started yet and is refunded with the rest.
Every class has been used, so the automatic refund is zero. You can still ask our team about a refund — see section 6.
What you paid, divided by the total number of classes, times the classes still to come. Discounts and coupons need no special handling because the sum starts from what you actually paid, not the list price.
A weekly plan bills a week at a time, so weeks after you leave were never charged and there is nothing to give back for them. The current week is prorated on classes rather than days: if you attended Monday and left on Tuesday, you used one of that week’s classes, not two sevenths of the week. If you used store credit to pay for weeks in advance, the credit sitting on weeks you will now never attend comes back to you.
Refunds are for the full amount you paid. Undoschool absorbs the payment processing fee.
You choose, at the confirmation screen, before anything is committed.
If a class is cancelled by Undoschool or the instructor before the first session, you receive a full refund.
You are refunded for every remaining session that will not be delivered, unless a replacement or rescheduled session is offered and you accept it.
The automatic refund covers classes that have not started. For sessions that have already run — illness, an emergency, something that went wrong — contact support so a person can review what happened.
A session your child could not attend still counts as used, because the seat was held. If something exceptional happened, section 6 is the route — we would rather hear about it than have you assume the answer is no.
Every cancellation and every refund is recorded: who cancelled, when, how many classes had run, what was paid back and by which route. If you ever disagree with a decision, that record is what we look at together.
