This 12-week intermediate Scratch course helps young coders deepen their game-design and programming skills. Designed for learners with basic Scratch familiarity, the course focuses on advanced mechanics such as keyboard controls, gravity and physics effects, power-ups, scoring systems, game reset logic, multi-level progression, and simple multiplayer interaction. Across the sessions, students create a series of guided projects—from racing and runner games to maze adventures, multiplayer sports, and multi-level challenges—so they can apply new techniques to real playable games. Each class follows a consistent structure: a short introduction and concept overview (5–10 minutes), live coding and project building (30–40 minutes), time for creative customization and debugging (15 minutes), and a brief showcase with feedback (5 minutes). Instruction is hands-on and project-based with step-by-step guidance, live demonstrations, and opportunities for questions. Learners are encouraged to personalize sprites, add animations, and iterate on mechanics to improve playability. By the end of the course, students will have several complete game projects to show in a portfolio and will feel more confident troubleshooting code, designing game flow, and combining multiple mechanics in a single project. The class is paced for Grades 2–5 and is best for students who can already navigate Scratch and create basic scripts.

Paid once.
Weekly live sessions combine short concept lessons with guided coding, creative customization, and a short showcase. Each class builds or extends a game project; students adapt and debug their own versions, and the final weeks focus on combining skills into multi-level games and a portfolio showcase.
