Roblox Studio 1-on-1: Lua Coding and Game Design

This one-on-one Roblox tutoring is tailored to each learner’s goals and current skill level. Sessions focus on hands-on building and scripting inside Roblox Studio, helping students plan and create the features they want—whether that’s a custom obby, a themed world, interactive NPCs, collectible systems, hazards and checkpoints, or game mechanics like leaderboards and rewards. In each session the instructor will review the learner’s project or goals, demonstrate relevant Roblox Studio or Lua techniques, guide the student through building or coding a feature, and help test and troubleshoot until it works. Lessons are flexible: instructors can introduce Studio tools and design principles, teach scripting concepts needed for the project, and iteratively improve features across multiple sessions. Projects can be new builds or enhancements to existing games. Possible outcomes include an obstacle course with checkpoints, scripted NPCs and dialogue, collectible and reward systems, and custom gameplay behaviors created with Lua. The exact scope and pace depend on the learner’s interests and prior experience. This tutoring supports beginners learning the basics of Roblox Studio and Lua as well as learners who already have a project and want focused troubleshooting and feature development.
