Roblox Girls Build Kind Worlds: Design a Welcoming Game Space

Game worlds can be designed to bring out the best in players. In this four-week course girls aged 8 to 12 design a welcoming Roblox world that encourages kindness and inclusion, building their design skills and empathy together.

In week one learners explore what makes a game space feel friendly or unfriendly. They discuss experiences like being left out or meeting a helpful player, then plan a world built around kindness, such as a friendship park, a cozy community center or a helping-hands village. Week two focuses on building gathering places, including benches for chatting, a welcome gate with greeting signs and group activity areas where players naturally team up. In week three learners add helper features, such as signposts that guide new players, a quiet garden for taking a break and a gratitude wall where players can leave kind notes. The final week is a world tour where learners show their spaces and explain how each design choice helps players feel included.

The teacher connects each design idea to real social skills, such as noticing others, inviting people in and offering help. Learners give each other kind, specific feedback throughout.

By the end each learner will have a finished welcoming world and practical ideas for being kind online. No coding is required.

How classes work

Each class pairs a kindness discussion with a building task in a small all-girls group. Learners share their worlds and give kind feedback.
