Roblox 1-on-1 Lua Coaching: Build Your Dream Game

Many young creators have a dream game in mind but get stuck turning it into code. These one-on-one coaching sessions pair a learner with a dedicated teacher who helps them build their own Roblox game, one feature at a time.

The first session starts with the learner's idea, whether it is an obby, a tycoon, a pet game or something completely new. The teacher helps break the idea into small, achievable features and creates a simple plan. From there each session focuses on the next feature, with the teacher explaining the Lua concepts needed, such as variables, events, loops, functions, tables or remote events, and the learner writing the code with guidance.

Because sessions are individual, the teacher can review the learner's existing projects, fix confusing bugs together and teach good habits like clear names, comments and organized scripts. Learners who are already coding can work on advanced topics such as data stores, ModuleScripts and publishing.

Each session ends with a short at-home challenge, and parents receive a brief progress note. Sessions are booked individually and suit both complete beginners and experienced young coders who want focused, personal help.

By working one-on-one, learners make steady progress on a game they truly care about.

How classes work

Each 55-minute one-on-one session plans the next feature of the learner's game, teaches the Lua needed and ends with an at-home challenge.
