I appreciate that the course pairs hands-on projects with short concept discussions so students apply ideas as they learn. Covering NLP, voice control, image recognition, and games such as a Flappy Bird controlled by face detection — all through tools like Pictoblox and Teachable Machine — sounds engaging and thoughtfully sequenced. The inclusion of ethical considerations and responsible AI is a welcome touch for this age group.

The investigations into suspicious images and checking sources sparked great conversations at the dinner table. The invention challenges and the final showcase topics on privacy and fairness felt age-appropriate.

My kid enjoyed the face filters and the space-battle project structure; the short demo + step-by-step walkthroughs made the ideas clear. A mild caveat: some of the collision logic felt rushed for the 55-minute slot and we wished for a bit more debugging time.

Fictional sample for prototype — As a parent, I appreciate the hands-on approach. The Teachable Machine lab and the 'spot AI vs. non-AI' game make complex ideas feel accessible, and the short activities fit a 55-minute class well.
