Learners design a physics puzzle game in Roblox Studio over eight weeks. Players use ramps, launchers, weights and gravity switches to solve levels built on real physics ideas.

Paid once.
Physics puzzles challenge players to think about how objects move. In this eight-week course learners design and build a physics puzzle game where every level is based on a real science idea.
Learners begin by exploring Roblox physics, testing how balls roll, blocks slide and objects fall. They then design their first level, where players must place a ramp at the right angle to roll a ball into a goal. Each week introduces a new physics concept and a level to match. Learners build launchers that explore force and distance, see-saws and weights that explore balance, conveyor belts that explore motion, and gravity switches that flip the direction objects fall.
Learners use simple provided scripts for goals, resets and level transitions, and they adjust properties like mass, friction and elasticity to tune each puzzle. They also learn to write a short hint for each level that explains the science without giving away the answer.
In the final weeks learners playtest each other's puzzle games, refine levels that are too easy or too hard, and add a level select screen. They present their favorite level and the physics behind it.
The teacher explains each concept with demos and connects puzzles to real-world examples like roller coasters and catapults. Basic Roblox Studio skills are helpful.
Each class introduces one physics concept with a demo. Learners build a puzzle level based on it and test it with classmates.
Week 1: Exploring Roblox Physics – Test rolling, sliding and falling.
Week 2: Ramp Level – Angle ramps to reach a goal.
Week 3: Launcher Level – Explore force and distance.
Week 4: Balance Level – Use see-saws and weights.
Week 5: Conveyor Level – Explore motion with conveyors.
Week 6: Gravity Switch Level – Flip gravity direction.
Week 7: Hints and Tuning – Write science hints and tune properties.
Week 8: Playtest and Level Select – Refine levels and add a level menu.
