Roblox Roleplay Town: Design Jobs, Homes and Story Spots

Roleplay games are some of the most popular on Roblox because they let players imagine everyday life and wild adventures. In this eight-week course learners design their own roleplay town in Roblox Studio, thinking like game designers about what makes roleplay fun.

Learners begin by studying what roleplay players enjoy, such as having jobs, homes to decorate and places where stories happen. They plan a town with zones for living, working and playing. Next they build homes that players can choose, then create workplaces for roleplay jobs, such as a bakery, a vet clinic, a fire station and a school.

In the middle weeks learners add interactive props using simple provided scripts, such as doors that open, a bakery oven that produces bread, a vet table and a working school bell. They design story spots, such as a park stage, a mysterious lighthouse and a lost and found, that inspire players to create adventures. Learners also add signs and a welcome area that explains the town to new players.

In the final weeks learners host a roleplay test session where classmates explore and play in each other's towns, then improve their designs based on what players actually did. The teacher guides each step and shares design tips.

No coding experience is required. The course suits learners who love roleplay games.
