This ongoing weekly club is for curious learners ages 8-10 (roughly grades 4–5) who enjoy puzzles, brain teasers, and playful math challenges. Each session introduces a new puzzle type or game designed to boost logical thinking, reasoning, and mental math while keeping activities social and engaging. Students alternate between independent challenges and small-team problem solving to practice different strategies and build math confidence. Club topics include Sudoku and logic grids, secret codes and number ciphers, math riddles and trick questions, a multiplication Battleship game, missing-number pattern work, geometry shape challenges, true/false reasoning activities, and themed puzzle weeks such as escape-room math, mystery math detective work, and holiday puzzle labs. Printable puzzle sheets are provided weekly and instructors guide discussion of strategies, common pitfalls, and multiple solution paths. This club emphasizes playful exploration rather than tests or worksheets. Regular participation helps students strengthen mental math fluency, grow persistence when facing challenging problems, and learn to explain reasoning to peers. The structure supports both confident math learners and those who are still building comfort with numbers.
