This personalized math tutoring program supports learners in Grades 1–5 with skill-building aligned to Common Core grade-level expectations. Sessions focus on core topics: addition and subtraction, multiplication and division, fractions, basic geometry, and interpreting simple graphs and charts. Instruction is interactive and inquiry-based, using discussion, visual aids, games, and hands-on activities to meet each child’s pace and learning style. Each 55-minute session follows a predictable structure to maximize learning: a brief warm-up, focused direct instruction, guided practice with teacher support, independent practice to build confidence, and a short wrap-up with Q&A. Teachers customize examples and practice problems to address the student’s current needs, whether reinforcing classroom lessons or providing extra practice on challenging skills. Students receive post-class worksheets to reinforce concepts and practice at home. The approach emphasizes building procedural fluency (accurate and efficient calculations), conceptual understanding (why methods work), and problem-solving strategies for real-world-style questions. Regular formative checks and targeted practice help track progress and guide future sessions. This program is designed for steady skill growth and stronger confidence in math for early elementary students.
