A four-week money math course for grades 3-5. Learners run a virtual shop in Roblox, set prices, add totals, make change and calculate profit in fun store challenges.

Paid once.
Running a shop is a great way to practice real-world math. In this four-week course learners in grades 3 to 5 design and run their own virtual shop in Roblox Studio while building money skills.
In week one learners choose what their shop sells, such as toys, snacks or pet supplies, and build a storefront with shelves and price tags. They learn to read and write money amounts with dollars and cents. Week two focuses on adding totals. Learners act as cashiers in a teacher-built store game, adding the prices of several items and checking their answers with a calculator sign. In week three learners practice making change, counting up from the total to the amount paid, and play a quick-change challenge game.
The final week introduces profit. Learners learn the difference between what an item costs the shop and what it sells for, calculate profit for a few items and decide how to price products fairly. They finish by hosting a class market day where classmates visit each other's shops and solve money problems.
The teacher uses play money visuals and real-life examples and provides a short practice sheet after each class. No coding is required.
By the end learners will add money amounts, make change and understand basic profit with confidence.
Each class pairs a money lesson with a store activity in Roblox. Learners practice with game challenges and a short worksheet.
