Learners in grades 3-6 design math games for other kids in Roblox Studio. Over eight weeks they write questions, build quiz rooms and practice math by teaching it through games.

Paid once.
One of the best ways to learn something is to teach it. In this eight-week course learners in grades 3 to 6 become math game makers, designing Roblox quiz games that help other kids practice math.
Learners start by playing a few teacher-built math games and discussing what makes them fun and effective. They choose a math topic to focus on, such as multiplication, fractions or place value, and write a set of questions at different difficulty levels. Next they build a quiz room in Roblox Studio with answer doors, where the correct door leads forward and the wrong door sends players back.
Over the following weeks learners add more question types, including true-or-false platforms, sorting challenges and number line jumps. They learn to write clear questions, check their own answers carefully and provide helpful hints. Simple provided scripts handle doors and scoring, and learners who want a challenge can edit the code to add new features.
In the final weeks learners playtest their games with classmates, watch where players get stuck and improve their questions. They finish by presenting their games and explaining the math they teach.
By the end learners will have strengthened their own math skills by designing a game that teaches others. No coding experience is required.
Each class mixes math review with game design. Learners build question rooms, playtest with classmates and improve their questions.
