This interactive logic club guides learners through five classic Japanese puzzle types: Sudoku, KenKen, Nonogram, Kakuro, and Hashiwokakero (Bridges). Each class focuses on one puzzle type and teaches clear, repeatable solving strategies. Students practice logical deduction, arithmetic reasoning, pattern recognition, grid-based spatial thinking, and strategic planning through guided examples and independent practice. The curriculum follows a 12-week rotating cycle so learners revisit core concepts and encounter higher-level challenge puzzles when the cycle repeats. Weekly lessons move from foundations (for example, Sudoku basics or Nonogram rules) to strategy and efficiency (advanced Sudoku techniques, Kakuro number-sum strategies), then to mixed challenges that combine skills across puzzle types. Class pacing and puzzle difficulty are adjusted for learner experience and classroom discussion. Students receive printable puzzle sheets before class and use pencil and eraser for most sessions; colored pencils are optional for Nonogram lessons. The club emphasizes clear problem explanations and persistence: learners are encouraged to explain their reasoning, compare approaches, and develop strategies for multi-step problems. This format supports steady improvement in mental math fluency, focused attention, and confidence with more advanced math reasoning. Ideal for learners who enjoy structured challenges and brain teasers, the club suits students in grades 3–5 (ages 8–10) seeking to strengthen logic and problem-solving skills in a supportive, practice-focused environment.

Weekly classes each center on a single puzzle type: instructor models strategies, students practice with printable sheets, then tackle increasingly challenging puzzles. Topics rotate on a 12-week cycle so returning students face higher-level problems. Difficulty is adapted to class experience.
