Jedi Science Academy: Middle School Physical & Space Science (Semester 2)

Using an educational live-action role-play storyline, this course teaches middle school physical science, engineering design, and related Earth & space and life science concepts. Students follow a blended story, complete homework and projects that affect the narrative, and explore topics such as flight, forces, phases of matter, rocketry, and engineering design within a gamified context.

Materials needed:

This class is a "build heavy" STEM science class. There are builds to do both in class and outside of class. We will then "test" them to then evaluate them. A complete list of supplies will be provided in the classroom, however you can adjust this based upon what you have at home. When I teach this class "In Person", I usually give them different choices of potential materials for construction. It will be key for you to discuss what they might need for each project. Everything on the list should be available at your local grocery or hardware store. The list also contains amazon links for your convenience.
