This creative coding club meets weekly and guides students in grades 2 to 4 through one new block-based project each session using Scratch, Code.org, and Tynker. Projects range from simple animations and interactive name art to full games and storybooks. Examples include a rocket launch animation, animated name designs, maze escape games, dance-party codings, talking storybooks, virtual pet simulators, Flappy Bird remixes, haunted house stories, emoji song builders, and themed games like trick-or-treat and dragon fireball challenges. Each session focuses on a concrete, age-appropriate project that reinforces core coding ideas such as sequences, loops, events, conditionals, and debugging. Students practice computational thinking and design habits by planning their project, following step-by-step guidance, and iterating until it works. The club balances instructor demonstrations with hands-on time so learners can build, test, and personalize projects. Platforms alternate so students gain exposure to different block-based editors and project formats. By the end of the series, participants will have a portfolio of playful projects and stronger confidence using block coding tools. The club offers a friendly, creative environment for early coders to explore logic, storytelling, and game design while developing problem-solving and digital creation skills.

Paid once.
