This Astronomy and Space Science Club is an interactive, age-appropriate program for curious learners ages 7 to 10 (grades 2–5). Over a 30-week rotating cycle, students build understanding of the Solar System, stars, galaxies, gravity, space weather, and human spaceflight through visuals, teacher-guided simulations, videos, and group discussion. Lessons mix clear explanations with hands-on creative options so learners can draw, describe, or present ideas in ways that suit them. Topics include Earth’s place in the universe, the Sun and Moon, day/night and seasons, moon phases and eclipses, planets and dwarf planets, asteroids and comets, gravity and orbital motion, star formation and constellations, the Milky Way and other galaxies, nebulae, telescopes and space tools, rockets, astronaut life, the International Space Station, exoplanets, and age-appropriate introductions to extreme objects like black holes. The class regularly uses teacher-led simulations, interactive star maps, images and animations from space missions, and simple models to make patterns and phenomena visible. Projects are optional and flexible: students might design a planet or moon, plan a mock mission, label diagrams, or share short research findings. Activities are designed for different comfort levels — learners may draw, write, speak, or participate through guided discussion. The club emphasizes curiosity, observation, and how scientists study space using tools and missions rather than formal assessment or credentials.

Paid once.
The club follows a 30-week rotating topic cycle. Each session uses visuals, teacher-guided simulations, videos, and discussion to explore one topic. Optional creative projects let learners apply ideas by drawing, describing, or presenting. Participation is flexible to match each child’s comfort level.
