Class Experience

An eight-week course covering Africa’s physical geography (two weeks) and focused studies of six countries. Lessons connect physical features to human geography topics such as culture, economics, government, history, and language roots where relevant. Maps and location lists are posted before class for students to print and bring for labeling and discussion.
