This course teaches core elementary geography concepts through guided Minecraft builds and classroom discussion. Lessons follow the same sequence children learn in school, moving from Earth's surface to continents, landforms, water systems, climate, biomes, natural resources, and human settlements. Each class pairs short explanations and visual examples with a guided Minecraft project so learners actively build models rather than only memorizing facts. Students will create maps, a mixed land-and-ocean model, a landform park, river systems with lakes and bridges, mountain ranges with a volcano, climate regions, biome areas with plants and animals, polar environments, a resource map, and a model town that shows roads, farms, and land use. These projects make connections between physical features and how people live on the land. The course is designed for learners roughly ages 6 to 11 or grades 3 to 5. It supports classroom topics such as identifying major landforms and water bodies, reading simple maps, describing climate zones and biomes, recognizing natural resources, and explaining how geography influences settlement patterns. Students who participate in the shared Minecraft world should have the Bedrock edition and a Microsoft account; joining the world is optional. Whether learners build together in game or follow along with screen examples, the course emphasizes hands-on exploration, observation, and mapping skills.
