Exploring U.S. National Parks: Ten Park Spotlights

Very enjoyable course — the five-week format with two 45-minute lessons each week worked well for our schedule and introduced my child to parks like Acadia and Crater Lake. I would have liked a little more depth on a couple of the parks, but it was a solid introduction to history, geology, and wildlife.

Exploring U.S. National Parks: Ten Park Spotlights

We were hoping for a more consistently engaging experience; my 8-year-old said the 45-minute lessons sometimes felt rushed and other times a bit passive. The visual media and the park topics like Bryce Canyon and Redwood were interesting, so there was useful content. Overall it didn't match our expectations for interaction and engagement.

Exploring U.S. National Parks: Ten Park Spotlights

As a parent of an 11-year-old, I appreciated how the course covered a variety of parks (Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, Yosemite and others) and balanced history, geological features, plant life and wildlife. The pacing over five weeks with two sessions a week felt just right for the 7–12 age range. He came away curious and eager to learn more about these places.
