Class Experience

This intermediate Python course builds on basic skills to teach object-oriented programming, iterators, scope, date/time handling, and structured project design. Classes are interactive: students code along with the instructor, complete exercises, receive live feedback, and work toward a capstone project that demonstrates class design, game mechanics, testing, and debugging. Recordings are provided for missed sessions.

Learning Outcomes

  • Understand and apply object-oriented concepts including classes and inheritance

  • Use iterators, scope rules, and data structures to organize code

  • Work with dates, timezones, and mathematical functions in Python

  • Strengthen debugging and problem-solving through live coding and code reviews

  • Plan and build a complete Python project demonstrating structured design
