This hands-on course teaches teens how to build real graphical apps using Python and the Tkinter library. Designed for beginners, the class introduces core programming concepts—variables, loops, conditionals—while focusing on event-driven design and user interface elements like buttons, inputs, layouts, and simple navigation. Across 12 lessons students create a series of projects that reinforce each concept: a first clickable app, input-driven programs, a functional calculator, a password generator, a reaction timer game with scoring, a multiple-choice quiz with score tracking, and a student-chosen final app. Lessons progress from single-screen interfaces to multi-screen navigation and polishing for presentation. Instruction is project-first: each class builds toward a working app, giving immediate visual feedback and opportunities to debug and iterate. Teachers guide setup, review code structure, and support UI improvements so students can learn both programming logic and basic design choices. The course concludes with time to finalize and showcase projects, helping students present what they built. No prior Python experience is required; setup help is provided in the first class. This course is ideal for teens who want a practical, visual introduction to coding and app development that results in tangible projects they can run and share.

Paid once.
Twelve project-based lessons. Each session introduces focused Python and Tkinter concepts, then builds or improves an app. Instructors guide setup, debugging, and UI decisions. Final lessons are reserved for completing and presenting a custom student project.
