Minecraft Geometry: Area, Perimeter, Symmetry, and Volume

This course teaches geometry fundamentals using Minecraft builds: identifying shapes, calculating area and perimeter, approximating circles and domes with blocks, exploring triangles and pyramids, symmetry and patterns, and computing volume for 3D structures. Each class includes a concept introduction, a guided in-game demonstration, hands-on building time, and student presentations or review.

If the student wants to join the world and play together they will need:

• Minecraft BEDROCK edition - which is available on PC, Xbox, Playstation, Mobile, Nintendo Switch, and more!

• Signed into your Microsoft account (so we can add each other as friends)

If the student wants to join to work on their world and talk about Minecraft with others but NOT play on the server, the above is not required.

Note: Bedrock version does not work on Mac.
