Class Experience

This eight-week live Python class uses hands-on labs to teach how simple machine learning systems learn from examples.   • Explain machine learning as learning from examples rather than hard-coded rules

  • Understand core terms model, training data, prediction, classification, confidence, and testing

  • Use Python data structures (dictionaries, JSON) to store and update learned information

  • Build and test simple models for text sentiment, sequence prediction, and image classification
