Class Experience

Over seven weeks, students explore a different continent each session through a picture book, printable maps, songs, and map skill activities. Lessons cover continent and country identification, the seven continents and five oceans, compass-rose practice, simple physical and human geography vocabulary, and short student presentations supported by teacher materials.

Please print out the world map, continent map for the continent we are studying that week, the compass rose, and the airplane, and bring to every class. Additional map skills worksheets will be provided for after-class extended learning, if desired.
