This five-class series introduces young learners (ages 6-8) to basic biology with a playful Halloween theme. Each 45 to 55 minute session focuses on a real biology topic presented through stories, demos, hands-on activities, and group reflection. Classes cover what makes something alive, how bones and joints let animals move, how the brain and senses work together, how nocturnal animals use sight and sound, and simple plant chemistry. Every class follows a consistent, child-friendly routine: a short themed warm-up (story, song, or riddle), a quick materials check, a teacher-led demonstration of the concept and steps, a guided student activity or craft, a group discussion to share observations, and a brief extension or challenge to try at home. Activities use common, non-toxic household items and are demonstrated slowly and safely. No sharp tools, open flames, or hazardous chemicals are used. Students who prefer not to handle materials can participate as observers, making predictions, answering questions, and describing what they see while staying fully involved. Each lesson ends with a one-sentence science takeaway and a simple at-home idea to reinforce learning with family. The course builds vocabulary, encourages curiosity and scientific thinking, and supports hands-on exploration appropriate for early elementary learners.

Paid once.
