This ongoing Science Club guides learners through a full year of hands-on science across life, earth, and physical domains. Designed for Grades 2–5 (ages 8–11), the program follows a sequenced plan aligned with NGSS and UK National Curriculum guidelines. Each week students explore a focused topic with interactive lessons, short demonstrations, guided experiments, small-group discussions, and reflection prompts. Students practice predicting outcomes, observing patterns, collecting simple data, and evaluating results. Lessons alternate between investigations, vocabulary development, and real-world connections so learners build both content knowledge and inquiry skills. Printable worksheets and digital visuals support different learning styles, while simple at-home materials make experiments accessible. Topics run from August through July and include units on plants, animal classification, the human body, weather and climate, space science, forces and motion, energy, rocks and landforms, electricity and magnetism, engineering challenges, and environmental science. This club is ideal for curious upper elementary learners who enjoy hands-on discovery and discussion. Weekly supply lists and activity notes are provided in advance so families can prepare common household materials. The format encourages critical thinking, collaboration, and a deeper understanding of how science connects to everyday life.
