This ongoing English Language Arts camp helps 6- to 9-year-olds grow reading, writing, vocabulary, and grammar skills through weekly, theme-based stories and activities. Each week focuses on a fresh theme—space, myths, inventions, sports, animals, history, mystery and more—so students read across genres and topics that spark curiosity and creativity. Students expand comprehension by summarizing, making inferences, and identifying key details from age-appropriate books chosen by the instructor. Vocabulary builds naturally: new words are introduced in context and reinforced through games, discussion, and short writing tasks. Grammar work is hands-on and meaningful—lessons target nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, sentence structure, and punctuation through playful practice rather than drills. Creative writing activities connect directly to the week’s theme. Prompts invite students to journal as explorers, invent devices, craft myths, or tell personal stories. Writers revise with guidance and receive individualized feedback to strengthen clarity, sentence variety, and expression while keeping a positive, supportive tone that welcomes mistakes as learning steps. This class emphasizes steady practice, close reading, and opportunities to share work aloud. The instructor adapts pace and choices to meet learners where they are so each child can build confidence and skill. Families can expect a mix of read-alouds, guided discussion, word work, short writing tasks, and teacher feedback that together develop stronger comprehension and creative expression.

Paid once.
Each week centers on one theme. Students read a selected story, learn new vocabulary in context, complete a short, theme-based grammar mini-lesson, then respond with a creative or structured writing task. The instructor gives constructive feedback and adjusts pace to each child’s needs.
