Animal Writers' Circle: Share Your Stories

Animal Writers' Circle is a supportive club for kids who love writing and animals. Each week begins with a fun prompt, such as writing from an animal's point of view or retelling a nature documentary as a story.

Learners write for part of the session, then share in small groups and practise giving kind, specific feedback. Over time they build a collection of animal stories and the confidence to share their writing with others.

How classes work

Each weekly session opens with a quick warm-up and a short new idea, then learners work on the session's challenge together while the teacher guides the group. Sessions end with time to share. New learners can join any week because each session stands on its own.

What we'll cover

• Session theme 1: Through an Animal's Eyes – Write a scene from the point of view of a wild animal.

• Session theme 2: Nature Documentary Stories – Turn a short nature clip into a dramatic story.

• Session theme 3: Myths and Legends – Write an origin story explaining an animal's special feature.

• Session theme 4: Story Sharing Circle – Revise a favorite piece and share it with the circle.

No experience needed. Learners need a device with a camera and microphone for live classes.
