Animal Story Club: Read and Share Animal Tales

Animal Story Club is a cozy weekly meet-up for kids who love animals and stories. Each week we read a short animal tale together, from clever foxes and brave elephants to ocean creatures, and talk about what the characters want, how they feel and what we would do in their place.

After reading, learners write or draw their own short animal story using the week's idea, such as a surprising ending or a talking animal. Everyone gets a chance to share, so kids build reading confidence, new vocabulary and the courage to read their own work aloud.

How classes work

Each weekly session opens with a quick warm-up and a short new idea, then learners work on the session's challenge together while the teacher guides the group. Sessions end with time to share. New learners can join any week because each session stands on its own.

What we'll cover

• Session theme 1: Clever Animal Tricksters – Read a trickster tale, spot how the clever animal solves a problem, then write a new trick for your own character.

• Session theme 2: Ocean Adventures – Read a short sea-creature story, learn three real ocean facts and write a mini adventure under the waves.

• Session theme 3: Jungle and Savanna Friends – Meet characters from the jungle and savanna, talk about friendship in the story and write a scene where two animals team up.

• Session theme 4: Pets with Big Personalities – Read a funny pet story, describe a pet's personality with strong adjectives and share an original pet tale.

No experience needed. Learners need a device with a camera and microphone for live classes.
