Class Experience

This four-lesson course teaches students how to design and use a personalized AI agent to support idea development, writing, and problem-solving. Students learn the difference between using AI for answers versus supporting thinking, create a role and boundaries for their agent, refine prompts and consistency, and apply the agent to school tasks. By course end each student has a usable, personalized agent framework.

Prerequisites

No prior experience with AI is required. Students should be comfortable typing, participating in discussion, and working through ideas with guidance.

Materials needed:

Students will need access to a computer or tablet, a free AI tool such as ChatGPT or Gemini, and a notebook or Google Doc for saving ideas and prompts.
