Video Game Character Sketch Club: Draw Mario, Minecraft & More (Ages 8-10)

This ongoing sketch club is made for young gamers who love to draw. Each week kids ages 8–10 follow a friendly, step-by-step cartooning lesson to sketch well-known video game characters and personalize them with their own ideas. Classes begin with a short warm-up or pose challenge, move into guided drawing instruction, and include tips for simple shading, color choices, and dynamic poses. There’s always time to customize drawings and, if students want, share work for supportive group feedback. The club is drop-in friendly: learners can join any week with no prior experience required. Sessions are paced to welcome a range of learners, including neurodivergent students, with clear steps, repetition, and encouragement.
