Teen Pokémon Design Studio

Teen Pokémon Design Studio is a six-week course for teens interested in character design and game art. They create original Pokémon with concept art, typing and detailed lore.

Teens also take on leadership roles in a group design project, planning a small set of creatures for an imaginary region and presenting it as a team.

How classes work

Each week starts with a short live demo of the new idea, followed by guided practice while the teacher checks in with every learner. Classes end with a small challenge to try before next time.

What we'll cover

• Week 1: Concept – Develop concepts based on animals, objects and myths.

• Week 2: Art – Create concept art with silhouettes and color palettes.

• Week 3: Lore – Write lore, habitats and evolution lines.

• Week 4: Group Project – Plan a regional set of creatures as a team.

• Week 5: Polish – Polish designs with feedback.

• Week 6: Presentation – Present the team's region and creatures.

No experience needed. Learners need a device with a camera and microphone for live classes.
