Class Experience

This 10-week, hands-on course guides learners from 2D to 3D game development in Unity: designing environments, adding player movement and cameras, creating obstacles and collectibles, and implementing beginner C# gameplay systems. Each session pairs guided instruction with hands-on building and playtesting so students can personalize and iterate on their own game projects.

Learning Outcomes

  • Build 3D environments using Unity tools such as terrain, object placement, lighting, and prefabs

  • Write beginner C# scripts for movement, collisions, collectibles, and gameplay interactions

  • Create a playable 3D game with obstacles, goals, and core game systems
