Class Experience

A six-week, project-based Unity course that moves students from 2D into 3D development: creating environments, adding physics-driven player movement, obstacles, collectibles, and simple C# scripts. Lessons combine guided instruction with hands-on building so learners can personalize their level, test gameplay, and refine core systems like cameras, colliders, and prefabs.

Learning Outcomes

  • Build 3D environments using Unity tools such as terrain, object placement, lighting, and prefabs

  • Write beginner-friendly C# scripts for movement, collisions, collectibles, and interactions

  • Apply Unity’s physics and camera systems to improve gameplay

  • Create a playable 3D game with obstacles, goals, and core gameplay systems
