3D Design & Modeling with Tinkercad (Beginner Level)

My 10-year-old loved working on functional objects and the chance to design wearable pieces. The weekly rhythm and 55-minute duration fit our schedule well, though they'd liked a slightly faster pace.

Scratch Coding: Animations, Games & Interactive Stories

Fantastic intro to Scratch for our 10-year-old—lots of creative projects focused on animations, games and interactive stories. The step-by-step guidance and demonstrations helped them grasp loops and conditionals, and presenting their projects boosted confidence. The 8-week schedule with one 55-minute lesson per week fit well into our routine and produced noticeable progress.

Scratch Coding: Animations, Games & Interactive Stories

We liked the emphasis on fundamentals like sequences and the opportunity to present projects, which our 8-year-old found rewarding. That said, some new concepts felt rushed at times and needed extra practice at home. The once-a-week 55-minute format is convenient but occasionally felt too short for more complex features. Overall a useful introduction, just be prepared to reinforce learning between lessons.

3D Design & Modeling with Tinkercad (Beginner Level)

Overall very positive: the course is clearly designed for beginners and my 13-year-old felt comfortable using Tinkercad after a few lessons. Each session's themed build followed by creative extensions encouraged independent thinking, and the peer show-and-tell idea sounded like a great way to share work. That said, some projects felt a touch simple for the upper end of the age range, and we would have liked optional challenges for older kids. Still recommended for getting started with 3D modeling.
