Roblox STEM Semester: Math and Science for Grades 4-5

This Roblox STEM Semester blends direct classroom teaching with interactive Roblox Studio activities to make grade-level math and science hands-on and engaging. Each lesson begins with a teacher-led explanation using visuals, examples, and guided questions. Students then apply those concepts inside our in-house Roblox activities designed specifically for learning, followed by a short worksheet to reinforce the topic at home. Lessons are aligned to Common Core State Standards for math and Next Generation Science Standards for science. Topics include place value, operations, fractions, measurement, geometry, energy and motion, states of matter, Earth processes, animal adaptations, magnetism, gravity, and problem solving. All Roblox experiences used in class are built by the instructional team and run in Roblox Studio so activities match the learning goals—not the other way around. The course runs 8 weeks with two live 55-minute classes per week (one math and one science each week). Families receive teacher support for installing Roblox Studio and setting up accounts as needed. This class is designed for learners who enjoy Roblox and benefit from applying math and science knowledge in game-based challenges while strengthening reasoning and problem-solving skills.
