Get ready for a confident start to Grade 3 with this hands-on summer camp for learners who have completed Grade 2. Over 12 live classes, students review core Grade 2 skills and build the foundational ideas they will meet in Grade 3. Lessons focus on place value to 1,000; addition and subtraction with two- and three-digit numbers; multi-step word problems; basic measurement and estimation; telling time and solving money problems; simple fractions as equal parts; shape attributes in geometry; and collecting and interpreting data with picture and bar graphs. The course also introduces multiplication reasoning through repeated addition, equal groups, and arrays to set up success in Grade 3. Each class blends teacher-guided instruction, visual models, math discussions, problem-solving activities, and review games. Students practice computational fluency, explain their thinking, and apply strategies to real-world situations. The pace and activities are designed to prevent summer learning loss and to make the transition to Grade 3 smoother and more confident. This camp is ideal for learners who want a focused review of second-grade topics and a gentle, practice-based introduction to third-grade math ideas.
