Roblox Girls Club: Play and Build in a Private Server

This program runs weekly from May 11 through July 27 and gives girls ages 7–12 a safe, collaborative space to play, create, and learn on Roblox. Sessions begin with account and privacy setup on a private server and ongoing guidance in online safety and respectful communication. Early weeks focus on exploring kid-friendly experiences like Gacha Online, Berry Avenue, and Princess Tycoon to practice teamwork, problem solving, and social skills during play. Mid-program lessons introduce Roblox Studio basics: building structures, customizing characters and environments, and adding simple interactive elements. Students apply those skills in hands-on activities, scripting simple mechanics and combining design and coding in a team mini-game project. Classes include guided game testing, troubleshooting, and polishing features to reinforce critical thinking and growth mindset. The course culminates with a group showcase where participants present their mini-games, reflect on what they learned, and celebrate progress. Instructors provide help setting up free Roblox accounts, maintaining privacy settings, and moderating the private server. Supplies include a computer with Roblox Studio installed and a notebook for planning. This course emphasizes safe social interaction, creativity, and foundational game design within a supportive, girls-only environment.
