This Grade 2 Science complete curriculum builds curiosity and foundational scientific skills through interactive, age-appropriate lessons. Aligned with Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), the course guides students through life science, physical science, and Earth and space science using teacher-led demonstrations, hands-on investigations, guided discussions, and observable experiments. Learners study how plants and animals depend on habitats and how life cycles, pollination, and seed dispersal support living things. They investigate states and properties of matter, observe how materials change, and test simple physical concepts. Earth science units explore landforms, water on Earth, erosion and other surface changes, while the weather and seasons unit develops understanding of daily patterns, climate differences, and safety during natural hazards. The space unit introduces the relationships among the Sun, Earth, and Moon and explains day, night, and seasonal patterns. A simple forces module covers pushes, pulls, and motion through hands-on activities. Each lesson emphasizes asking questions, making observations, collecting evidence, and explaining findings. Lessons include visuals, guided practice, and review activities to reinforce learning and build scientific reasoning and communication. The curriculum is organized into 24 lessons suitable for homeschool families, after-school enrichment, or classroom use seeking a structured Grade 2 science program with clear, standards-aligned content.
