Zookeeper Role-Play Club: Design Animal Enclosures

In this playful club, little learners become zookeepers. Each week we meet a new animal, find out what it eats, where it sleeps and how it plays, and talk about what a good home for that animal needs.

Then kids design and build a simple model enclosure with craft supplies or blocks, role-play feeding time and show their zoo to friends. It is hands-on, imaginative and full of simple science about caring for animals.

How classes work

Each weekly session opens with a quick warm-up and a short new idea, then learners work on the session's challenge together while the teacher guides the group. Sessions end with time to share. New learners can join any week because each session stands on its own.

What we'll cover

• Session theme 1: Lion House – Learn what lions need and build a sunny enclosure with a shady rest spot.

• Session theme 2: Penguin Pool – Explore how penguins swim and keep cool, then build an icy pool area.

• Session theme 3: Monkey Jungle – Find out how monkeys climb and play, then design a jungle gym enclosure.

• Session theme 4: Our Class Zoo – Bring all enclosures together, give a zoo tour and role-play feeding time.

No experience needed. Learners need a device with a camera and microphone for live classes.
