As a parent (fictional example — not a real testimonial), the curriculum content—clue hunts, inference work, and guided reading—looked solid. My only mild caveat is that the pacing sometimes felt a bit quick for our schedule; more flexible meeting options would help families with busy weeks.

My 8-year-old loved the hands-on activities—guided reading, drawing, and mini-comics made the chapters feel lively. She looked forward to the weekly sessions and enjoyed using new words from the vocabulary segments at home.

My child loved the Halloween-themed kickoff and the mystery format—those early activities really hooked them into reading. The mix of small-group discussion and tasks that require citing text felt like engaging practice.

As a parent, I appreciated that the club meets twice a week for about 50 minutes so practice is consistent but not overwhelming. The enter-investigate-synthesize case cycle made it easy for us to follow what skill was being practiced each session. Overall, the structure and use of text evidence felt well organized.
