Class Experience
A four-week bootcamp that guides learners through brainstorming, drafting, staging, and polishing a short solo performance using a three-part format (monologue, music, poetry). Instruction covers improvisational monologuing, adding sensory detail, staging and physicality, technical rehearsal, and a final costumed performance with feedback.

Prerequisites
Materials needed:
Students will need to bring a notebook and pencil to class for every session. For lesson 2, students are encouraged to bring a secondary device (such as a cell phone) for research. They may need to find a poem related to their show theme if they decide not to write an original poem.
