Slime Making Level 2: Advanced Textures & Techniques

This Level 2 slime class advances beyond basic recipes to explore textures like floam, icee, and bingsu. Students learn more challenging mixing and texture techniques, how to balance textures, and ways to customize slimes with color, scent, and add-ins. Lessons include demonstrations, hands-on creation, and a final student-led signature slime project.

Has completed 4-Week Slime Lab: Explore Fluffy, Cloud, Butter & Icee Slimes! or equivalent.

Materials needed:

Glue - white and clear

Water

Borax

Hand Lotion

Color: Food coloring, Tempra or Acrylic Paint, or Mica Powder

Scent: essential oils, fragrance oils (these are optional)

Measuring - cups and spoons

1-2 mixing bowls, any material other than paper

A spatula

Additional Materials:

Week 1 - Foam Beads (Floam Slime)

Week 2 - Fake Snow (Icee Slime)

Week 3 - Bingsu Beads (Bingsu Slime)

Week 4 - Any additions they want! They will create their favorite slime.

Please let your learner pick whatever colors they would like. If they want to add additional clay pieces, jelly cubes, etc. they are welcome!
