Class Experience
Over two weeks kids build a hanging solar system mobile, one part at a time. Each session focuses on a different part of the solar system with crafting and fun facts.
Kids learn the order of the planets, what makes each special and how the solar system fits together, then assemble and show off their finished mobiles.
How classes work
Camp meets on back-to-back days. Each day builds on the last, mixing short demos, hands-on work and time to share progress, so learners finish the week with a complete project.
What we'll cover
Day 1: Sun – Craft the sun and learn why it is a star.
Day 2: Rocky Planets – Make Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars.
Day 3: Gas Giants – Make Jupiter and Saturn with its rings.
Day 4: Ice Giants – Make Uranus and Neptune and learn about ice giants.
Day 5: Assembly – Put the planets in order and assemble the mobile.
Day 6: Showcase – Show off the mobile and share favorite facts.
