Class Experience
This course provides five recorded needle-felting lessons (about 30 minutes to 1 hour per week depending on the project), plus an interactive Padlet and classroom for questions and sharing. Lessons demonstrate tools, setup and storage, safe needle use, project templates and step-by-step making of woodland animals, with reference photos and techniques to help learners finish or nearly finish a felted animal.
Learning Outcomes
Identify and set up basic needle-felting tools and storage.
Demonstrate safe needle handling and workspace setup.
Apply shaping, blending and armature techniques to form animal parts.
Design and follow a simple template to complete a felted woodland animal.
