Grade 5 Math: Foundations in Fractions, Factors & Decimals

This targeted, instructor-led course reviews core Grade 5 math concepts to build fluency and confidence. Over eight live 45-minute classes, students revisit multi-digit multiplication, long division, place value with whole numbers and decimals, operations with decimals, factors and multiples, and adding and subtracting fractions. Major topics are taught across two sessions for reinforcement and practice. Each class follows a predictable routine: a short warm-up, clear concept introduction, guided practice with examples and models, and a brief wrap-up to check understanding. Instruction emphasizes conceptual understanding and real-world connections. Teachers use visual aids and number models, step-by-step strategies, and collaborative problem solving to help students correct common errors and improve speed and accuracy.
