This full-year Grade 3 English Language Arts course strengthens reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary with a predictable, student-centered routine. Learners meet twice weekly in a small-group format that encourages participation and gives each student time for questions and targeted feedback. One class each week focuses on guided reading: age-appropriate children's books are selected to match each learner's interests and reading level, and students practice comprehension strategies, discussion skills, and vocabulary development. The second weekly class targets grammar and writing through interactive games, focused skill lessons, and guided writing activities. Across the year students study sentence structure, parts of speech, verb tenses, punctuation, and sentence variety, then apply those skills in writing. Writing units include opinion pieces, friendly letters, narratives, and informative paragraphs. Regular short assignments build planning, drafting, revising, and proofreading habits; the final weeks concentrate on larger writing projects that allow learners to plan, draft, and publish polished work. By year end, students read more thoughtfully, expand vocabulary, use grade-level grammar accurately, and write clear, organized paragraphs across multiple genres.

Paid once.
Two live 35–40 minute sessions per week over a 36-week school year (72 meetings total).
