This course is designed for high school students preparing for the Digital SAT who want deep conceptual understanding rather than memorized shortcuts. Over 24 class meetings, students build from foundational algebra to advanced SAT topics. Every concept is explained both visually and algebraically before students work guided and independent SAT-style questions. Regular mixed practice helps learners connect topics and retain skills. Desmos is introduced as a supporting tool to visualize functions, check solutions, and explore graphs, but instruction emphasizes mathematical reasoning so students do not become dependent on the calculator. Classes focus on step-by-step worked examples, guided problem solving, independent practice, and targeted mistake analysis. Students will develop skills to solve linear, quadratic, exponential, radical, and rational equations; understand functions, graphs and transformations; solve systems and inequalities; apply ratios, percentages, probability and statistics; interpret tables, scatterplots and data models; and tackle geometry, circle, and trigonometry problems. The course also emphasizes translating word problems into equations and choosing efficient solution methods. Each lesson includes a clear explanation, teacher-led worked examples, guided SAT-style questions, independent practice, and a class recap with mistake analysis. The syllabus is organized to build fluency and problem-solving strategies across all SAT Math domains.

Paid once.
Each class presents a key concept, teacher-led worked examples, guided SAT-style practice, and independent problems with review. Lessons progress from foundations to advanced topics and include regular mixed reviews. Desmos is used as a visualization and verification tool, not a replacement for algebraic reasoning.
Solve linear equations, inequalities, and systems using algebraic and graphical methods.
Simplify and rewrite expressions involving exponents, radicals, polynomials, and rational terms.
Solve and interpret quadratic, exponential, and other nonlinear equations and their graphs.
Analyze and interpret data from tables, scatterplots, and statistical models.
Use Desmos to graph equations, find intersections, and verify solutions while relying on mathematical reasoning.
