Beginner Crochet: Stitches to Project Completion

This eight-week beginner crochet class teaches foundational skills—slip knot, chains, basic stitches, increases and decreases—progressing to texture techniques, pattern reading and a guided end project. Lessons combine technique demonstrations, skill review and follow-along project sessions; students are asked to submit photos of finished projects for assessment.

Materials needed:

• Single 5.0 m crochet hook

• Single 8mm crochet hook

• 4 Small skeins of worsted weight yarn (size 4)

• Note-taking supplies - if kiddo thinks they need them (ie. iPad, or pencil and paper)

• 2 Skeins extra bulky, blanket-weight yarn (size 6)

• One yarn needle (optional)
